My friend Mich's cousin Nathalie Khoriaty of Ottawa has finished her first CD called Mississippi Love. Her absolutely unique voice is delicious and powerfully delicate, with a feel for the 20s, jazz, blues, wearing pop and sometimes country. Her lyrics are clear and oh so uncomplicatedly deep; a reminder to never take a single thing for granted. Every song on this CD is a soaring gift; my favorites are Losing Control and Forever Adieu, which features Sam's brother Basil on the flawless all heart guitar solo, making it an incredible song in terms of both meaning and musicality.
